How We Work

At Trophymeasure, we accurately measure the outer horn length of wildlife by capturing high-quality images ourselves. Using a combination of advanced photography techniques and specialized equipment, we gather precise data from the images, including the angle, distance, and clarity of the shot. This allows us to calculate the exact outer horn spread with exceptional accuracy, ensuring that every measurement is reliable and true to the animal’s dimensions. Our non-invasive approach guarantees the safety and well-being of the wildlife while providing accurate, professional results.

Accuracy

At Trophymeasure, we have extensive experience in measuring wildlife accurately. From January to October 2017, we completed several hundred measurements, starting with volunteer work where we measured buffalo and wildebeest on various game farms. These animals were darted and measured with a caliper within a week before or after our own measurements. The results were then compared, and we found that 80% of our measurements were spot-on accurate, while the remaining 20% were off by only 1/8” (under-measured). Since then, we have refined our techniques, ensuring that we consistently deliver precise and reliable measurements for all species we work with, using advanced photography and data analysis methods.
